Richard Stebbins is co-founder of First Financial and is our chief executive officer in charge of all aspects of our business. Bringing 30 years of experience in lease financing and management, Mr. Stebbins has been a key person in assisting the growth of First Financial.

Prior to starting First Financial, Mr. Stebbins served as Vice President of Sales for Premier Financial Corporation. Prior to his position with Premier, Mr. Stebbins was the Senior Vice President and member of the board of directors for Atlantic Computer, an international leasing company with offices worldwide. Mr. Stebbins was the co-founder and President and CEO for GS Computer, an IT focused leasing company that was purchased by Atlantic Computer in 1989.

As a co-founder of First Financial Tom Slevin’s current primary role is heading up sales and marketing as national sales manager. With 14 years of equipment leasing experience Mr. Slevin’s contribution over the last 8 years have included building and leading the sales team, business development, marketing, structuring lease transactions and assisting in setting the direction of the company.

Prior to starting First Financial Mr. Slevin spent 6 years as an AVP and senior marketing executive at Comdisco, a Fortune 500 equipment leasing and technology services company. His additional experience includes senior account manager/sales positions with Xerox and IBM. Mr. Slevin holds a B.S. in Marketing from Fairfield University, Connecticut.

As Chief Financial Officer of First Financial, Brad Wheatley is responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial recording and reporting systems, including cash management and budgeting. He also assists senior management in residual value forecasting and credit underwriting. The documentation and tax groups report to Mr. Wheatley.

Mr. Wheatley has over 35 years experience in a variety of financial officer positions at both large financial institutions such as Aetna Life and Casualty and Comdisco, as well as at two smaller, specialty equipment leasing companies, Third Coast Capital and Gaming Capital Group.

Mr. Wheatley earned his BA from Union College, Schenectady, New York and his MBA from the Wharton School. 

Todd Leavey is responsible for all facets of the credit underwriting and deal syndication department of the company. He reviews credit/lease requests, approves appropriate credit lines, evaluates collateral and develops and maintains syndication partner relationships.

Mr. Leavey has over 19 years of lease underwriting, syndication, banking and financial analysis experience. Prior to First Financial Mr. Leavey was with Celtic Leasing Corp. for 9 years as Senior Credit, Syndication manager and credit analyst. Prior to that he held finance positions with Amplicon Financial, Wells Fargo and Raytheon. Mr. Leavey graduated from California Polytechnic State University with a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance and received an MBA from California State University, Fullerton, California.

Mike Myers, joined First Financial in early 2010, as Senior Vice President, to head First Financial’s new Healthcare Solutions division. Mike has responsibility for business and marketing development, portfolio management and channel relations. Mike has well over 25 years of healthcare experience, primarily in leasing, imaging equipment and services, PACS and health care IT. Prior to joining First Financial, Mike was Vice President – Healthcare at Relational Technology Solutions, where he was responsible for leading the independent lessor’s entry into the healthcare market.

Similarly when he was at Comdisco, Mike built the Comdisco Healthcare Group (CHG). At the time, it was the leading independent lessor and provider of refurbished equipment and technology services to health care organizations. Mike also served as VP, International for CHG and was instrumental in establishing both lease and technology services business in Eastern and Western Europe and South America. Previous roles include sales and marketing positions with leading medical device and IT firms, such as Johnson and Johnson, IDX and HBOC. A cum laude graduate with a BS in Biology from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, Mike also earned an MBA in Marketing from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois and is frequently a guest speaker at industry event.
